This film is a collection of audiovisual moments and memories of a 3-week railway journey through Japan in 2015. We were whizzing through the country with the Shinkansen visiting Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima and Kyoto as well as lots of wonderful little places along the way, meeting the most friendly people and experiencing a culture that somehow balances its rich tradition with a very futuristic present.
In the summer of 2016 my girlfriend and I embarked on a week long trip to Hanoi and Ha Long Bay. When we weren't busy eating incredible street food, we filmed some stuff.

The K101 project is a collaboration between the Munich based customizers Impuls and the artist Fabian Gatermann. We followed them around for a year and documented the rebuilding of this bike from scratch.
This is a little portrait about 13 year old skateboarder Tyler Edtmayer. We met up to skate for a day at the bowl in Brixlegg, Austria and had a chat with him.
In spring '16 we set out to California for a few days shooting a commercial. Working with such a great crew we ended up with loads of leftover footage and decided to whip up this little piece before it ended up on the cutting room floor.
