I’m an American filmmaker based in Munich, Germany.
I got my start making award winning snowboarding films from 1999 to 2013 — directing, shooting, editing, and producing in wild, unpredictable places. That chapter shaped how I work: fast on my feet, collaborative, and drawn to real people and real stories.
Along the way, I studied art and design, which gave me a deep appreciation for image composition, color, and rhythm — something that now carries through everything I do, from directing to photography to motion design.
My work today blends cinematic storytelling with a strong visual signature. I love to combine live action with motion graphics, animation, and art direction — a crossover that lets me craft bold, coherent worlds across concept, shoot, and post.
I’ve directed and created films for Audi, Adobe, Aston Martin, BMW, Cisco, FC Bayern, Lufthansa, Ralph Lauren, Volkswagen, and more — always as a team player, hands-on from the earliest idea to the final frame.
When I’m not doing anything film-related, I hang out with my wife, daughter, and our dog, wandering the world. I like taking photos and eating good food. (Sometimes I take photos of the food, too.)
I love Arrival, Lost in Translation, Spirited Away, Stranger Than Fiction, Good Time, and Breaking Bad, Shameless, Mr. Robot, Succession, 30 Rock and Arcade Fire, Ólafur Arnalds, Bruce Springsteen, Tame Impala, The Killers. And Japan. And dogs.
